Eighteen years after the end of apartheid, South Africa is still one of the world’s most unequal societies. The majority of our students have been dramatically affected by poverty, violence, abuse, hunger, and HIV/AIDS.

THE INTERCULTURAL EXCHANGE:  Broadway in South Africa fosters communication, collaboration, and social integration amongst a diverse group of students, many of whom would never interact without our on the ground presence. We provide a safe space to discuss serious issues, cultivate new ideas and develop solution oriented thinking. This exchange is vital to erasing the social inequality that stands in the way of effective and universal education and the fight to end poverty.

Broadway in South Africa is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
